Our 4th Gin & Beer Tasting Evening took place on Friday 30th August, from 7pm – 10pm. Find out more below.
Our previous tasting evenings have proved to be very successful and we look forward to another amazing evening of sampling some of the very best gins and beers from around Angus and further afield in Scotland. Previous gins have included Gin Bothy, Red Castle, Crag & Tail and House of Elrick. We have also served Shed 35, 71 Brewing and 60 North beers and ales.
We take time to investigate each gin and find out what it’s best mixed with so that we can present it beautifully to you as a cocktail. When the drinks are brought to your table we are able to tell you all about where they come from, the botanicals used in the distilling process and any other useful information. Similarly we can introduce the beers and ales, allowing you to really appreciate the taste and flavours.
Each table is provided with a generous sharing board of nibbles to accompany your drinks. The boards have a seasonal mix of delicious treats from our shop and deli counter as well as fresh Gather sourdough. If you let us know at the time of booking we are happy to customise your board to suit any dietary requirements you may have.
Tickets will be sold in the same way as previous events – per table, with tables of 2-6 people available. Tickets are £25 per person which includes 4 gins or 4 beers and a mystery drink – something a bit special which you may not have tried before but we are sure you will enjoy – plus the generous sharing board mentioned above. To book a table you can email us, pop into the shop in person or phone (01241 853943).
We have been able to learn and build on our previous tasting evening experiences and we feel that this next event will be better than ever! We hope to see you there!
